Your wedding day is not very important. Your graduation day is not very important. Your 16th birthday was not very important. The most important day of your life is the Day that you will meet Allah with all this dunya baggage that we carry. People prepare for months before their weddings, and months before their graduation, getting dresses and tuxedo’s ready, but what do we prepare for that meeting with our Rab, a day that supercedes all other days, and the only Day that will truly matter. Reminder to myself first*.
